2022 Nemaha County Fair Schedule
Animal Show schedule will begin with, 4H, FFA ,Open Class,
Wednesday August 10th – 6:00 pm Cleanup /Set up at fairgrounds
Friday, August 12th 4H /FFA / Clover Kid Entry only
3:00 -7:00 pm Pre-Fair Judging and Entry of FFA/ 4-H Home Economics & General Areas Exhibits (Except Horticulture) . — Clover Kid projects entered and interviewed –4H building.
Saturday August 13th — Open Class to Enter / Shooting Sports
8-11:00 am Open Class: entering in 4H building – All Home Economics, General areas & Horticulture.
Judging will start after 11am. Building is closed to Public.
9 am 4-H Shooting Sports – Archery Contest / Open Area west of Ballfield
Sunday, August 14th
OAB 4H Food stand opens
Food building stand opens -TBA
8 am Horse Show and Check In – Horse Arena
12:00 p.m. Poultry entered
1:00 p.m. Poultry Show (Waterfowl-Pigeons) – Livestock Arena
2:00-8:00 p.m. 4-H Building open to public
5:00 -9 pm Fairgrounds Open for All Livestock. Livestock will be weighed as unloaded.
9:00 pm ALL livestock (4-H /FFA & Open Class) MUST BE IN PLACE

1:30 pm Horse, Dairy, & Livestock Judging Contests – Livestock Arena

4 pm Awards: Shooting Sports, Livestock Judging Contests, Herdsmanship Awards, & McIninch Judging Trophy
5:30 pm Livestock Buyers Meal
6 pm 4-H / FFA Livestock Premium Sale – Livestock Arena
7:00 Chain saw Wood Sculpture Auction –(after the Premium sale)
Proceeds of Auction Benefits Nemaha County Agricultural Society
7:30 pm Static Exhibits Released, 4H building will remain open for one hour.
9 pm All Livestock Released
Nemaha County Agricultural Society is not responsible for exhibits or items not picked up.
Thursday, August 18
6 pm Clean Up at the Fairgrounds
Open Class entry cards may be picked up at Hair N More, Needles I Quilt Shop, the UNL Extension Office-Nemaha County Courthouse / or online at www.nemahacountyfair.org
Open Class Premium money will be handed out on Wednesday night at 7:30 pm. Please remember to pick it up when you pick up your exhibits.
Premium money will be held for 1 week – after that the premium money will be forfeited.

PARADE ROUTE: begins at Courthouse Square, proceed down Courthouse Avenue, turning on 15th and K Street, ending at 10th and K Street.
Information- 2022 — Parade line up: 4:30-5:45 pm ~ Parade begins at 6:00 pm
You do NOT need to Pre-Register.
LINEUP: O Street headed South between 19th and 16th
Agricultural machinery: O Street Headed North between 19th and 20th
Fire and Rescue: N Street headed South between 19th and 20th (front of Sheriff Office)
Color Guard: on South side of Courthouse
Horses: N Street headed North between 19th and 20th
WRITE UP: Please bring 2 copies of your short write-up for the parade announcer with the information/advertisement, form located above. Ag Society member will pick up form after you are parked.
– For assistance watch for an Ag Society Member driving an ATV.
– Please do not leave your entry unattended parked on the street.
– When lining up for the parade, please pull directly behind the entry in
front of you. Do not leave large gaps, park next to the curb, leaving the
center of the street open.
